Summer update 🌺✨

Heyy, long time no see! 👹

I was already spamming the news to my other social media weeks ago but this year I applied to a university of applied sciences for the first time in my life and I actually got in!!! I was so nervous about the entrance exam and I felt like it didn't go that well... but I ended up getting 99 points out of 100 and almost fainted! 😱 I'm not sure if this is real facts but I've heard no one can actually get the 100 points so basically 99 is the best you can get so I'm extremely proud of myself 😊

So starting this august I will study textile design and I can't wait to see what kind of cool things I'll learn! To those who don't know me, I studied art & design and fashion & design in college between 2007-2009 so it's been a looong, loong time since I last fully studied anything! (I'm not counting the diploma in Business and Administration that I got while working because it was more like 95% of me doing my job and 5% of me going to the school for a day to do the exams..) 

Sadly I couldn't take photos of the entrance exam works but if anyone's interested, this was my pre-assignment that I sent in. You had to design something for someone important in your life and I decided to go with this jacket and ofc I had my bf in mind 😊

Deja vu!

Hellooo everyone! I'm so sorry I haven't been updating my blog for months...

 I feel like I haven't done really much yet still it's already May!? I did join my first gal-sa ever as an obaa and a big frill haul but I'll talk more about that later~

I did dye my hair red back in February and now 3 months later I'm done. So bored of it lmao! So Idk what I'm going to do next because I don't want to bleach it and I don't want to go dark either..

So let's see! I managed to get it pretty light with just your typical vitamin C/ dishsoap baths but the colour is pretty horrible now and the red is sitting there tight.

This post will be just a co*de dump, I want to talk about my current boom in another post!

Hair magic 🎇

Ah it's me again, blogging in the middle of the night 💦

 I've had this idea in my head for two weeks and today I finally had the energy to play around with my hair. I borrowed hair crimpers from my sister and wanted to try this high pony crimped look! I usually have 0 energy (and skill tbh) to do anything to my hair so this was a good practice!

Winter inspiration~★

Now that I've been uploading and reading tons of magazines, I thought I'd blog about something else for a change!

I hate winter, going outside and being cold but as I live in Finland, I can't really avoid it. Also for some reason I really hate wearing winter hats when I go outside. Idk why this is because at the same time I love beanies?? It all must come from hating all the layers you have to wear in order to survive..

Nothing has really inspired me lately with fashion (not that I've even been able to go outside to get inspired..) so I went back 10 years to get some inspiration from trusty gyaru fashion~★ For some reason I've been thinking about zebra print jackets and I started to look for those in old magazines. Instead I ended up finding this image and then it all hit me! This is what I want to wear this winter!!

Important notice!

 

Hi everyone and sorry for the looong update hiatus on this blog!

I started scanning my Ageha magazines, but it was super slow and took way too much time that I was willing to sacrifice and then I just ended up forgetting the whole thing...

✨ But now I'm back! ✨

I updated my layout to match that good old 2009 / 2010 blogger vibes~ 

(sorry I'm no graphic designer so this is the best I can do.. 😂)

I also did a little questionnaire if I should upload other magazine scans that I've saved throughout time and got a really positive feedback from that. So what I'm gonna do is I'll start updating the old magazine scans that I've saved first and then go back to my magazines, unless I have them saved on my PC already. 

I do have to leave a disclaimer tho:

I have not scanned the magazines I'm going to post next and will credit the owners if they're known. I will also ask help to identify if needed! A disclaimer will be put on every post that is not my own work, so the credit can go to the right people. 😌 I do not want to claim anything that is not my own doing and my intentions are only to share the joy of old magazines with everyone who's interested in them~

I haven't decided how many a day I'll upload but please keep checking and let me know what you think!

New blog, who this?! 

How can I not start my new blog with a Bring Me The Horizon song, haha!

 My first blog was actually called "Death Breath" (before I changed the name) and it really took me a lot not to name this blog after a bmth song again....

Anyway! 

The reason I wanted to start this blog was to share my love for anything gyaru related (scans, inspo etc.) and maybe some thoughts and coords of my own on the side. I took a looong break from blogging and gyaru but now I'm back. I'll be uploading old magazine scans throughout the weekend so watch this space!

If there's anything you want a better picture or scan of, don't hesitate to leave me a note!
